Joyful or miserable?
An old, astute master was on his deathbed about to die reminiscing with his disciples.
One of the disciple asks,”what is the secret to your joy?”
The master replied, “I always asked myself every morning of the day,’Today you are going to be joyful or miserable?’
And I kept on choosing joy everyday.”
When you are joyful you are Pleasant to the world, sensible in your head, liveliest in your everyday moment and do no stupid things to yourself.
Everyone of us here have been happy.
Just that many of us didn’t know how to maintain that happiness.
Suppose you are on deathbed. You are going to die and you lived a good long 100 years. And you just look back and see if this was worthwhile. Live your each day with so much of jubilance, realness and vibrant that your life seems worth living even if you die tomorrow.
Well I don’t know if I’m going to be the richest successful woman, or climb Mount Everest or being able to beat the fastest runner Bolt in a race. But one thing I can do is strive to become wonderful human being . And nothing can deny me to be that.
Sometimes making choices are the most daunting part. Sometimes few miserable choices in our life disguise in an appealing and attractive state of manner.
Example : choosing between a salad and a bowl of pasta.
The more you realise this and delay your gratification, the more you tend to make the right choices.
So Being joyful or being miserable? Its your choice.
So why settle onto an awful, miserable choice when you can choose a right one?
