kuch na kuch chooth jaayega bunny:)
FOMO - fear of missing out, in millennials
The stream of Facebook updates, the texts so you know what you’re missing in the moment, the Instagrams that let you see it and weep.
That brunch/lunch/party you skipped?
Oh you didn’t know that Rashi cheated on her boyf?
Yes did you know that nerd girl is double dating?
Damn please set me up with that photographer girl.
So there’s a catalogue of FOMO thoughts that flits through the Millennial mind, whether it’s on the Thursday night you’ve decided to stay in or it’s touched off by a random comment on IG.
OMG. I’m singe AF.
OMG. everyone is up to something and here I’m spending weekends in pyjamas.
OMG. I don’t know how to be funny.
OMG OMG OMG.
FOMO affects life in both small and large ways for this generation who sleep with their smartphones by their pillows. Millennial social life is both complicated and driven by FOMO since, Alas, you can never be in two places at once. Keep in mind that these young people are just now graduating from the hookup culture and trying to add a dash of FOMO to the “Neophytes- at - Dating “scene and you can imagine what happens:/
It takes a certain attitude to be driven by FOMO- a certainly that you are destined for bigger things and that something better might be right around the corner. A small thing that you have to live it up by your whole and soul positivity and presence ... things can slow down, small simple things can give u happiness too
Jitna bhi try karlo ... life mein kuch na kuch toh chooth hi jaayega bunny. Iss liye yahi iss pal ka maja lete hai
Why be on something that each and every millennial out there is craving on? :)
