Heart or brain? Who do you choose? Long time ago, a girl named Jenny was wandering like a lost    soul in the forest. The wilderness had a perfect abode for all the doodlers and wanderers who didn’t know where they are heading.  Jenny comes across an old woman, wearing long archaic red cape dress with a feathered black hat. She had those sheer, clear wrinkles lining her face with those emerald blue bizarre eyes.  “Hello mam, can you please tell me where is this road heading?”, Jenny asked to the old woman  “Where do you want to go my child?”, woman questions. “I don’t know. I am not sure.”, Jenny replies. “Well girl, if you don’t know then it doesn’t matters where this road is heading.” Old woman said it with a smile. “Why do you say so mam?”, Jenny asks. “My dear, I’m afraid that your coming path won’t be clear if the where and why behind your journey is still undiscovered by you;)” Well, when we get our ‘why’.We tend to deal with ‘how’ and ‘what’ easily....

It all depends on ourselves.  Are you happy? Do you think you are really happy?... think about it... Nowadays people mistake the happiness in comparison to more wealth, lavish life!  Well, Happiness is everywhere. It’s all about opening your eyes wide and looking    around us. Let me narrate down a short story to you .... Once there was a king. He was walking In a farm with his minister. His eyes glanced at a family who were buzzing out of happiness, contentment, love and affection. King questioned his minister, “how can one be so happy? I have a massive palace, and a lavish lifestyle, but still they see more happier than me. How’s that possible?”  Minister replied, “ Your majesty, I suppose they are not a part of 99 club.” King baffled, “what is 99 club?” “Your highness, just give me 99 gold coins and I’ll tell you what does that mean after 6 months.” The minister takes a bag of 99 gold coins and puts it right in front of the door step of farmer’s house....

If you kill your inside enemy.  The out side enemy doesn’t harm:) Jee le Zara... Situation- I am happy. Way of expressing (then)- hoped around the house with a wide, ecstatic, coyly smile. Conversed happily, flatteringly with your folks around. Way of expressing (now): posted “feeling good” status. Posted a “happy, bright, good” quote with that “mundane” face :I Situation- I am sad. Way of expressing (then)- cried with face buried in pillow. Skipped meals. Way of expressing (now)- Blocked. Unfollowed. Ignored. Cut the contact in your socialising life. Removed your dp. Uploaded a sad quote. Situation-    I am angry. Way of expressing ( then)- “jaa, katti” , complained to their parents, punctured their cycles. Challenged your haters to beat you.  Way of expressing (now)- abused the person, trolled on social media, cyber bullied brutally. Didn’t we use these all small, silly, yet so simple and predictable ways of expressing? We all have come so far... we say, “te...

Even past has something good to offer. When it comes to attaining happiness, the usual suggestion is to live in the present and forget the past. But, sometimes past has the most beautiful experiences to forward for your current as well as future. If something is there in the old times and years that can make you feel energised and inspired then it is not bad to look behind. In fact, sometimes when you feel dull and destroyed, it is a past achievement or moment that revives you to stand again. The best way to do this can be a flashback of your old pictures, which helps you recall the happy days. Keep going back in old days as they may give a better idea to improve your today and tomorrow.

Cheers to the little things. No luxury in this world can be more pleasant than the soothing moonlight. The price of a luxury car may come under your affordability and you may feel proud on that. However, that super luxury car is less in cost than the sweet innocent smile of your child. If he is not feeling comfortable in that car, for sure you will want to bring the child out of it in the cool, fresh, healthy breeze. That again makes you feel relieved, as your child’s well-being is more precious than that lavish Audi/Lamborghini/Bugatti. This is life. The    ultimate goal of life is happiness, which is in small things.   Celebrations are not the slaves of weekends Certainly, the routines are very busy and we eagerly wait for the week to end.  Monday is the most stressful day and everyone is afraid of its tiring routine and gloomy feel that comes as the obvious consequence. But don’t you think that here we need to change the approach. Why to wait desperately fo...

Main apni favourite hoon. “Oo, she has those awful blackheads.” “Ah, such a skinny one” “Tooo.. curvy n pansy” “Ugly and black, Oreo toned” 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️ This gradually leads to... The inner voice: “I have a pimple. I don’t wanna go out” “Shit, the facial hair! How I’m I gonna show up?” “Maybe I should lose some pounds” “I’ve this ugly scars which everyone would notice  😩 ” The origins of the voice of the inner judge is simple to trace: it is an internalisation of the voice of people who were once outside us.  Sometimes, a voice is positive and benign, encouraging us. But more often, the inner voice is not very nice at all. It is defeatist and punitive, panic-ridden and humiliating. An inner voice was always once an outer voice that we have imperceptibly made our own. In a world where we’ve been raised to put others first, self-love can often feel selfish. Setting aside time for self-love causes feelings of guilt, and we struggle to maintain a dedicated self-love prac...
