Heart or brain? Who do you choose?

Long time ago, a girl named Jenny was wandering like a lost  soul in the forest. The wilderness had a perfect abode for all the doodlers and wanderers who didn’t know where they are heading.

Jenny comes across an old woman, wearing long archaic red cape dress with a feathered black hat. She had those sheer, clear wrinkles lining her face with those emerald blue bizarre eyes.

“Hello mam, can you please tell me where is this road heading?”, Jenny asked to the old woman

“Where do you want to go my child?”, woman questions.

“I don’t know. I am not sure.”, Jenny replies.

“Well girl, if you don’t know then it doesn’t matters where this road is heading.” Old woman said it with a smile.

“Why do you say so mam?”, Jenny asks.

“My dear, I’m afraid that your coming path won’t be clear if the where and why behind your journey is still undiscovered by you;)”

Well, when we get our ‘why’.We tend to deal with ‘how’ and ‘what’ easily.

But we so often ourselves baffle in

Why,how, and what. Well why do we so?

Have you ever been in a situation where...

Arghh, there’s a plate of yummy mozzarella pan pizza and bowl of healthy salad... damn what should I do? Should I go for pizza? It’s so yummy!🙆🏻‍♀️ or should I go for salad?

My heart is craving for those good feels on my taste buds, it’s yelling a big yes! But little, I do hear “No, you can enjoy a healthy salad too. It has more perks... choose wisely”

We all go through this situation very often.

Unlike  few simple decisions like shopping decisions, food decisions..

There exists some other crucial decisions beyond that...

Imagine You’re browsing through dating-site profiles, or you’re at a party, when you’re instantly drawn to an attractive stranger. Unlike buying a purse or a pair of pants, this decision can affect not just your wallet but your overall well-being. Who knows? It might even affect the rest of your life—if this turns out to be the perfect someone for you. Your heart, again, is clamoring for your  attention ,encouraging you to Go for it. Your head, though, has a few more questions before giving your permission to plunge into this possibly good, possibly disastrous new relationship.

This can also be the case with your goals and career decision!

How?

“Oh, dude commerce is easy! Take up that and we can have our college fun”

“Science is so hard, don’t take up that... you will need lots of efforts”

Well we often take decisions under peer pressure. The most easiest and appealing ones are captured by your heart screaming and convincing you with a big monologue for your simple, temporary pleasures. Little do you hear an encountering voice behind.

Friends and family will likely tell you to “listen to your heart,” as it "knows what’s best for you too. This suggests you follow your emotional inclinations rather than those logic would suggest. But is that really good advice? Think back on the times when you  did  follow your heart. How did it work out?

Remember that we’re poor statisticians: You remember the choice you didn’t make because, not knowing what the outcome would be, the best you can do is guess as to what might have happened.

You might end up thinking ...What about “the one who got away?” Won’t you always regret not having followed your heart’s advice.

Won’t your regret over not choosing those outlandish shoes? Won’t your look back at the pizza and said “maybe I should’ve had that”.

Well, brain and heart goes hand in hand. There are always two voices!

Don’t just let one voice overpower you completely.

Let your clear mind listen to all your inter communicational parts for its not always about pleasures but also about the rightful outcomes.

Logic helps you to balance your life practically and emotions makes you human

Make your move wisely:)
